District Convention of Jehovah's Witnesses, July 1-3, 2011


"Let God's Kingdom Come" will be the theme of a three-day convention of Jehovah's Witnesses, July 1-3, 2011 in Toyota Center, 7100 W. Quinault Ave., Kennewick, WA.

Friday, July 1, 2011; 9:20 a.m. to 4:55 p.m.
Saturday, July 2, 2011; 9:20 a.m. to 4:55 p.m.
Sunday, July 3, 2011; 9:20 a.m. to 3:40 p.m.

Three dramas include an audio dramatization of a Bible account on Friday, a modern-day drama on Saturday, and a full-costume Bible drama on Sunday.

A discourse answering the question, "Will Humans Ruin This Earth?" will be given as part of the Sunday morning program. "God's Kingdon Will Crush All Other Kingdoms -- When?" will also be part of the convention program.

Admission is free, and no collections are taken. All of the sessions are open to the public.

Vacation Bible School Scheduled in Farmington, WA -- June 27, 2011

Jesus' Kids in the Kitchen is a unique, fun-packed Vacation Bible School for kids ages 2-12.  The action begins at 9:00 on June 27, 2011 at the Farmington Seventh-day Adventist church, 404 North Second Street.

The VBS runs through Thursday, June 30, 2011. Trained adults will teach kids health, fitness, and how to fix heaalthful snacks.  Songs, skits, and activities will help instill old-fashioned valued based on Bible principles.
All needed supplies are furnished without cost.  Certificates of achievement will be presented to all who complete the course. 
The final program will be at 6:30 p.m. on June 30th.
